Adelman’s Continued Commitment Toward Employee Wellness
This month, Adelman introduced a new employee benefit as part of its Employee Wellness Program. Adelman recognizes there’s more to wellness than just the employees’ physical health. It’s important that employees are healthy and at work but ensuring they’re productive and engaged is the goal. Financial strain, childcare concerns, and other ‘life’ problems can weigh heavily on employees and keep them from being their best while at work.
Adelman’s Employee Engagement Committee and Senior Leadership Team launched the new Wellness Time Off (Wellness Days) Benefit which offers employees time off hours separate from their regular paid time off (PTO) to better support their physical, emotional, and mental health needs. Wellness Days provides employees with a bank of designated hours they can use for their physical needs such as preventative healthcare, physical health, minor surgical procedures, etc. as well as for their mental and emotional health needs such as counseling/therapy, wellness education or just ‘me time’.
Adelman recognizes the importance of workplace wellness and is committed to maintaining a healthy and supportive work environment for all employees. Adelman plans to launch additional employee wellness initiatives later this year that further support the programs in place.
