Join Food & Wine Trails’ Bourbon & Blues Experience

Adelman Travel’s Food & Wine Trails division, a designer of exclusive, epicurean cruises and tours, is pleased to offer their exciting new Bourbon & Blues tour and river cruise for the spring of 2024.  The adventure will be hosted by Rebecca Robinson of Zinfandel Advocates & Producers (ZAP), a non-profit dedicated to the preservation, education and appreciation of Zinfandel grapes and wines, along with top Zinfandel winemakers Shauna Rosenblum of Ridge Vineyards and Miro Tcholakov of Miro Cellars & Trentadue.  All are welcome to join the cruise, which will also feature delicious wines provided by the hosts.

Cruise guests will enjoy an intimate, all-inclusive experience aboard American Queen Voyages’ newest riverboat, the American Countess, christened in 2020.  The American Countess will leave from Memphis and cruise down the mighty Mississippi.  Along the way, the ship will make several stops, allowing guests to explore the colorful history of cities and towns along the fabled river before disembarking in New Orleans.

In addition to the itinerary presented by American Queen Voyages, Food & Wine Trails has added a Bourbon & Blues pre-cruise option, which will include two nights in Louisville to experience the distilleries along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, including legacy distilleries Angel’s Envy and Jim Beam; one night in Nashville to check out the diverse music scene; and a final night in Memphis to savor the city’s famous barbeque and blues prior to boarding the cruise.  During the cruise, a special Food & Wine Trails shore tour in Natchez will allow guests to enjoy the southern hospitality, culture and iconic homes of this Mississippi town. Following the cruise, Food & Wine Trails will offer an optional one-night stay in New Orleans.

Additional features exclusively for Food & Wine Trails guests include onboard receptions, wine seminars and a Winemaker’s dinner with your cruise-tour hosts.

A $50 per person shipboard credit bonus is available for bookings made by March 31, 2023.
