Due to mandatory inspections called for the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 type engines used in many of ANA’s Boeing 787 aircraft, the carrier is being forced to cancel a number of flights within Japan. No international flights will be canceled; however, the carrier may have to substitute aircraft with domestic seat configurations on a limited number of international routes such as Tokyo (Haneda) – Seoul (Gimpo). ANA has posted a list of domestic flight cancellations through August 31. The carrier is reviewing its operations for the month of September and promises to post applicable cancellations for September by August 9.
