Airline Temporary Policy Updates as of September 2, 2010

During times of unusual weather systems and international crisis, many airlines will relax their policies regarding changes in itineraries. As clients of Adelman Travel Group, our goal is to keep you as informed and up to date as possible. Please check here for any future updates.

MX suspends all flights Mexicana Link All 8/28/2010 All Mexicana, MexicanaLink and MexicanaClick flights will be suspended until further notice as of midday on Saturday, August 28, 2010. All flights programmed to depart after this hour will be canceled. Grupo Mexicana deeply regrets any inconvenience this decision may cause and will continue to assist passengers to the full extent of its abilities. Passengers who have already flown a leg of their journey and who are scheduled to fly with a Grupo Mexicana airline after Saturday, August 28, 2010 are advised to consult the websites or contact us at the numbers listed below. Priority will be given to minors traveling unaccompanied, passengers traveling with children under age 3 and special needs passengers. If you have not yet begun your journey, we recommend you make alternative travel arrangements. Puerto Vallarta Travel Advisory AS Link PVR 1-3SEP We have issued a waiver code PVRBRIDGE0810 for the current travel disruption for the Mexico market of PVR. Change fees are waived if travel is rescheduled for Wednesday, September 1 through Friday, September 3, 2010. All travel must be in the same class of service. No other changes allowed. Use PVRBRIDGE0810 in the tour code box to waive change fee.
Mexicana Tickets AS Link MX/AS 1-2SEP Mexicana TicketsFor those of you that have clients with travel on Mexicana who wish to now travel with Alaska Airlines, effective immediately, AS/QX will no longer accept tickets issued on Mexicana ticket stock (MX 132). You can re-book your clients on Alaska flights / ticket stock at the lowest available fare. To re-accommodate due to MX cancellations on 027-ticket stock, please use the code ASMXSC in the tour code box and follow the guidelines below. Customer should be advised to contact their credit card company and / or Mexicana for a refund on their original MX ticket. AS/QX do not get involved in any part of the refund process of MX tickets.Guidelines to Rebook Customer MX flights - originally booked on AS ticket stock We will waive the change fee to book to a different AS market.

Guidelines for customers with MX flights - originally booked on any other OA ticket stock
Customers may try to contact us to book and buy flights in an AS market that was originally booked on MX. Waive advance purchase if necessary, but no overbooking. Use waiver code ASMXSC

For waiver-eligible itineraries, we recommend that you reschedule your travel as soon as possible.
If your flight has been canceled, you may already have been rebooked on another flight. Please visit the My Reservations page to see if you have been rebooked.If you have not yet checked in for your flight and you have not been automatically rebooked, you may be able to reschedule your travel through My Reservations. To do so, select View/Modify next to the impacted itinerary and click the "Change Itinerary" button.
If you have already checked in for your flight, you must cancel your check-in before trying to rebook through My Reservations. You may cancel your check-in through EasyCheck-in Online®. SEE WEBSITE FOR ADDIONAL INFORMATION

Hurricane Earl AA Link N/A N/A If you would like to reschedule your flight plans to your original destination, you must do so prior to your first scheduled flight.
Rebooked travel must commence within 7 days from the start of your original travel date, or normal charges will apply. Some inventory requirements may apply. If you would like to depart early due to the hurricane watch you may do so with no penalty or change charge. Some inventory requirements may apply. If your originating flight in a round trip itinerary is affected, your return flight may be rescheduled for a later date to allow the original length of your hanging Your Travel To An Alternate Destination You may also choose to change your flight plans to travel away from the projected path of the hurricane. This must be done prior to the first date of your travel. Any difference in fare will apply, however, you will not be required to pay the normal charge for changing a reservation. All ticketing changes with regard to this policy must be made through American Airlines, regardless of where the ticket was purchased.
Refunds can be issued for non-refundable tickets in the form of a travel voucher which must be used within one year of issue. All refund requests must be made no later than 14 days from when the United States National Hurricane Center issues the hurricane watch. AA must refund all tickets.

3-4SEP Policy Information
Delta will waive administrative change fees and travel agents may rebook and reissue tickets provided the below guidelines are met and applied:
•Travel has not commenced on the affected flight segment and the ticket has not been reissued by Delta
•The first departure flight is more than 3 hours away
•Customer has not checked in (If checked in, Delta must reissue the ticket)
•One change is permitted under this policy without penalty fees or Administrative Service Charge (ASC)

2-4SEP Due to impending weather from Hurricane Earl, JetBlue is allowing customers the option to voluntarily rebook their travel without incurring change fees or fare differences for specific cities. If your travel plans include one of the following airports, and you would like to make a change to a new flight without a fee or fare difference, please call 1-800-JETBLUE to discuss re-accommodation options.Customers traveling in/out of a city listed below between September 2, 2010 and September 4, 2010 may move to a new flight between the same cities, which departs any time between now and September 14, 2010.
